A quick Scrapbooking CV… I ran a Scrapbooking/Craft Group for 5 years and have given a number of Adults’ and Children’s Workshops and have been featured in local Newspapers, National Scrapbooking Magazines and on BBC Radio on the subject of Scrapbooking. I have written a blog since April 2007, ran a monthly Worldwide e-Newsletter for 4 years (back issues still available and have various related websites (links below)… phew! But in little more detail…I am a designer of many things – I scrapbook, paint, papercraft, digitally design – I have always been interested in Arts, Crafts and Design of all types. I have given many live demonstrations and sold my own finished items in various crafts (such as Encaustic paintings; Stamped paper crafts, clothing and homewares). As a progression from all things crafty and previous professional magazine page design experience, it was a natural choice for me to take up Scrapbooking and I have taught this since the beginning of 2006 at my monthly Crop (group of crafters) and in workshops for both adults and children.
In my teaching I have found many people that want to scrapbook are overwhelmed by all the information there is available and they become disheartened with their own abilities and projects.
I have seen over and over again with the people I teach, that with only a little guidance, beginners and experienced crafters alike, can make beautiful things of which they are proud and pleasantly surprised that “they too” can be creative.
I have been running a scrapbooking blog since 2007, but I decided to start a scrapbooking website specifically to simplify what’s out there, so that scrapbookers (and card makers/general paper crafters) can find easy-to-use information to get them motivated.
I have a new Hybrid Scrapbooking and crafting website and published an ebook on how to make your own ribbon holder!
Finally, all these sites come together under one roof at SundayLDesigns.com.
Basically, I love to “help people to learn” and get creative with scrapbooking and paper crafting!
