Let me introduce myself! My name is Sunday Lamdin (hence the “L” in SundayLDesigns!) and I have a number of websites! This one, however, is my main website which ties them all together.As a progression from all things crafty and previous professional magazine page design experience, it was a natural choice for me to take up Scrapbooking and I have been teaching this since the beginning of 2006 at my monthly Crop (group of crafters) and in workshops for both adults and children.
In my teaching I have found many people that want to scrapbook are overwhelmed by all the information there is available and they become disheartened with their own abilities and projects.
I have seen over and over again with the people I teach, that with only a little guidance, beginners and experienced crafters alike, can make beautiful things of which they are proud and pleasantly surprised that “they too” can be creative.
I have been running a scrapbooking blog since 2007, but I decided to start a scrapbooking website specifically to simplify what’s out there, so that scrapbookers (and card makers/general paper crafters) can find easy-to-use information to get them motivated. And, the bonus for me is that it’s like being back in my editorial chair!… especially now that I create a monthly FREE online Newsletter!
I have also launched a new Hybrid Scrapbooking and crafting website and published an ebook on how to make your own ribbon holder.
Finally, all these sites come together under one roof at SundayLDesigns.com, with more books about scrapbooking and self-portraiture on their way.
Basically, I love to “help people to learn” and get creative with scrapbooking and paper crafting!
