The November 09 Sketch for the Newsletter is a multi-photo Scrapbook page.  One large photo and up to 4 smaller photos (and/or blocks of embellishment).  As part of my demo at my crop last weekend I wanted to show that you can easily adapt a scrapbok page sketch into a card sketch with only a little adjustment.  I’ve digitally reproduced my hand drawn sketch here  (below left) and have morphed it to make a greetings card.

The dark red block which would have been the main photograph on a scrapbook page could easily feature some lovely patterned paper on the card, with maybe a striped or more muted paper behind.

BUT… with respect to pictures… many a greetings card features a picture and you can add them to yours too.  Of course many people stamp an image, but you can print an image to use, see this post for free downloadable vintage images and a card example.

So you see the photo element of a scrapbook page is not so disimilar to that of a card either!
