We had our coffee machine installed on Monday and we had some training too! Miles and I shall have a play/practise at the weekend… anyone for a coffee or a hot chocolate? (I made sure I have some of the white chocolate delivered too… it’s brilliant).
We don’t open till 3rd April, but does this mean we are officially a tearoom/cafe/restaraunt? We also had a water boiler installed, so we have the Tea capacity at the same time, but making a pot of tea is not quite as complicated as a decent cup of coffee.
And I’m particularly impressed with the smoothness of our particular blend, which, I might add is roasted and blended only 9 miles from here!

Dear Sunday,
Congratulations Dear, You’re are there! So much so in fact I would say that You are “OFFICIALLY” there-!!
I wish I could be in the UK to celebrate your big day with you but for now I’ll enjoy your success and progress through your website! Thank you so much for sharing all that you are to me and the world of scrappers!
My wish for you is that you will reap all that you have sown a thousand fold!
God Bless you,
Teresa
Awww Thanks ever so much for your words of encouragement, it’s lifted a slightly “overwhelmed” feeling I had this morning, so much still to do! It’s good to know people are rooting for me/us!!

Hi Sunday
Glad things are coming along okay. It will be great to have a nice new place to come to for a cup of tea.
Jean x
Hi Jean… you must also taste the very delicious hot choccies that we can make with the snazzy coffee machine too!
Hi Sunday
I can’t wait, I have to admit, hot chocolate is my favourite.
Jean x
It would definitely be white chocolate for me because cocoa brings on a migraine. I would think the shop would be official the day you open the door for the public. Good luck. Looks like a fun place to hang out.
Not long now, you must be soooooooooooo excited, I am and thats just because i’m looking forward to buying a lovely cup of hot chocolate.
Best of luck
Jean
Dear SundayL
My wife was born in Mettingham (in the Low road - some while ago - we’ve been married 47 years). I have known the Tally-Ho over the best part of 25 years - as a classical musician sometimes straying into the realms of dixlieland jazz with the Sole Bay Jazz Band, of which you will no doubt have heard! We would love to visit you with some friends on your opening day tomorrow. What time?
We both reckon you’ve touched on something here…..
Look forward to meeting you.
from Ray Simmons
Hello Ray,
I was passed the message that you called this morning! We open at 10am and close at 5pm and it will be lovely to welcome you and your wife and friends to the Tally Ho as a Tearooms - I think you will find it very different inside!
Warm Wishes
Sunday
