Well, it’s official… ScrapBuddies, my Scrapbooking group, at which I give demos and workshops and generally help members with their own Scrapbooking projects, is moving home!
The venue for the last three years has been at the Village Hall at Ditchingham, but as of April this year it is moving into my Tearooms on Tuesday evenings.

As I mentioned in a previous post, I have been playing with the papers and stamps from the Nook & Pantry collection by Basic Grey. I realise I took the picture of this in it cellophane wrapper, but I thought I’d share one of the first cards I have made with the Nook and Pantry Basic Grey) set of stamps my mumbought me for Christmas. I reaslise that it’s a week later, but here is the photograph of the Valentines card I made for my husband. How do you get your friends to gladly GIVE you Scrapbooking Supplies? (and they can also be used for cardmaking.) What Scrapbooking items am I talking about? I am often asked how I achieve the “distressed” look to paper edges on my scrapbook layouts and cards… something I do quite a bit, especially on Vintage style things, (layouts and cards). Here is the latest card I made using the free downloable/printable vintage style pictures from Heidi. I made this card as a Thank You Card for a lady that doesn’t really do lacy and fru-fru! Tried to keep it simple with the image (lovely soft mood to the picture don’t you think?) doing most of the work. I have found making cards “around” a photographic image much easier than creating something from [...] As promised here is the set of four more traditional Christmas cards. They are the usual red and green style. Again I’ve used flocked paper from Laura Ashley (Dovecraft sell the range) ton the two outer cards, the background paper on the third from left is Basic Grey “Boxer” 6×6 pad, hence the need for a [...] Here is the set of three vintage style christmas cards I made just before Christmas.
