Page Tour Video - Finding Free Scrapbooking Supplies

I’ve uploaded a video here to show you a couple of 8×8 scrapbooking pages.  Both pages were made with items I have collected around the house, such as a jar label, a drink can ring pull, string and “back of the draw” buttons!

8x8 Scrapbook pages made with free items

As much as I love proper scrapbooking stash, I do enjoy the satisfaction of being able to find and use items which cost very little or, better still, are free (and usually recycled - such as the drinks can ring pull).

I am constantly seeing inspiration for pages and paper designs all around me when out at the shops, such as the patterned paper bags which hold my bought goodies.

Sometimes (and this may make me look a bit sad!) I decant the purchases from a pretty bag and carefully pack the bag so that it doesn’t get crushed!

As I have mentioned in the video, I have scanned-in the patterned paper, which is something I suggest you do too.  Most paper bags given as shopping bags are REALLY acidic and won’t do your scrapbook pages any good at all.

So here is the video.
