When I checked my emails this morning, I was pleased to find that a reader (of the SSN Newsletter) had sent me a photo of her scrapbook layout based on the Sketch in the current Newsletter (see this post for the sketch and my layout).
Look at this… lovely… and look at all those buttons! This bright page was made by Timi Mercardo (Thank You Timi for sending it in) and I am particularly into things half hidden behind papers and such at the moment, so I particularly like the top right hand corner with the ripped paper showing some buttons. Pretty young lady too!
And the scalloped edge ring… was that hand punched or a diecut one (or a cutting machine version even)?
It’s a good interpretation of the sketch, and thank you for sharing it with us Timi.

Thank you for featuring my LO here. That’s my daughter Dannah in the photos. BTW,I punched the scalloped edge using Fiskars Lacy Days of Summer border punch.
Ah, you’re welcome Timi. I will go have a look at the punch you mentioned, I use a Dovecraft corner rounder for my scallops, which works but it a bit fiddly, yours may be better.
