Here is a quick(ish) scrapbook page I made recently. You can see I have no photographs on this page. Instead I have used the piece of paper which my daughter had written on as my focal point.
As there was no colour dictated by this focal point I worked the colour around the diecut butterflies, a sheet of which a friend had given me a while ago.

Dear Sunday,
This is a wonderful idea for all the notes and drawings that our children leave to us. This has inspired me to make a scrapbook or very many of all the notes and handmade cards that my children ( now all adults ) have left for me that I have stashed in several shoe boxes that I love to go through and look at. I cherish all the beautiful memories that I have and now ( as a beginner ) I have some wonderful scrapbooks to get started on. Not to mention my 2 granddaughters!
I cannot thank you enough or express just how much your site means to me and the inspiration that it has given me! I’m truly blessed for stumbling onto your site! God Bless you and yours,
Teresa
Hello Teresa, Kind words indeed, thank you. I’m very pleased whenever I have sparked that creative flame in someone, and I hope I can continue to feed and nuture a budding creative force!
