So Much More to Come!

I have such plans for the Tearooms, but we have been sooooo busy (which is fantastic) that I have not had a chance to organise much.

Firstly, due to demand, we have made some Gluten Free items, such as Lemon & Poppyseed Cake, Plain Gluten Free Scones and some Enormous Chocolate Brownies.  Many pieces have been enjoyed by people with no specific dietary requirements!

We are adding to our Menu (hopefully this week) and this should mean that after a couple of adjustments since opening, the menu can take us through the summer.

As for my “To Do” List… I want to make much more of the Gift Shop area and have been making (and selling) Cup & Saucer Gift Sets (pictured below).  I have a tray of pretty cups and saucers waiting to be gift wrapped.

But I am looking for some lovely gift ideas to stock, you know, something different and with a vintage and/or local feel to them.

I also have some more signs to design and have made.

We are working on the lawn area at the front, and need to source some furniture in order for people to sit outside in the warmer weather (although some can already on the terrace), and also I need to find some garden pots/planters to put my plants in for the Terrace too.

As for the website - I want to integrate a blog of it’s own so that I can update everyone of what’s new on the Specials Board and anything else of interest, such as events we plan to hold here too.

I want to include the menu on the website and lots of lovely pictures of mouth watering cakes and scones, cream and jam!

I’m sure my TO DO List is actually a lot longer that I have included here, but that will do for now, eh!
