Here is a quick(ish) scrapbook page I made recently. You can see I have no photographs on this page. Instead I have used the piece of paper which my daughter had written on as my focal point. As there was no colour dictated by this focal point I worked the colour around the diecut butterflies, a [...] Here is my latest scrapbook page layout. It’s a 12×12 page and I’ve kept it simple. That’s my order of the day so that I can get some scrapping done in between researching equipment and furniture for the Tearooms! The papers are from the “Wisteria Collection” from Basic Grey and I printed the pictures altogether on [...] Yep, the first scrapbook page of this year! I made about a week ago, the withdrawal symptoms from not doing any scrapbooking (I’d done cardmaking) was making me most frustrated. I am in the process of making a scrapbook about a holiday we took in 2007 to Disneyland Paris. I realise it’s nearly 2010, but I’ll get there eventually! Hi there, the next Scrapbooking Layout instalment of my “Intentional Scrapbooking”! I’m just showing you the layout here and will write a little more about the subject later! Here is a close up of the title chipboard letters… I covered them thickly with white acrylic paint and when it had dried I stamped onto them with a subtle [...] Ok, so… as promised in the previous post here are the other pages I created in my circle mini album. Thank you to those of you who have commented on Here and via Facebook and forums regarding my last post. I am still here, and I have been warmed by the kind words you have spoken, some from complete strangers, although in our world of scrapbooking (and general paper crafting) we are all friends… right?! [...] Well the title says it all really! This layout is by Aphra and I know you’re wondering about the plaid (tartan) puppy… well he’s in the Basic Grey ‘June Bug’ collection. This is a nice way to put lots of patterned paper together, visit Aphra’s blog post for more information and close-ups. I decided to join in with the Basic Grey Challenges Blog this week and so here is my interpretation of the sketch… It’s an 8×8 scrapbook page. I have noticed that there are mostly cards posted on the challenge blog as examples, but I scrapbooked it. Here is the sketch… The Red and the Grey papers are Basic [...] Here is a lovely page by Stephanie over at the Scrap Paper Scissors Blog. I particularly like the layering of the leaves, butterflies and fence. And this is a great example of the use of white space (literally in this case!). The simple doodled lines around the edge 0f the background cardstock are just right to frame [...] |
