Following on from a personal scrapbook page I made last year with the title “I Can Do This”, which was made as encouragement for myself to keep going and stop doubting myself (with regard to this massive gamble my husband and I were taking by buying a closed pub and turning it into a Tearooms!)… Following on from the Video Tutorial showing how to make a Border Page Accent. Here is the finished page using the page accent. I could waffle on… but instead I have made a video… and waffled on in there instead! lol I finally got around to photographing my 8×8 Scrapbook page which has a vertical design! The Sketch based on this page is here. I have been and still am, very busy with the Tearooms - we officially open next Saturday, but staff are in and possibly the public too from Wednesday - only a few days [...] This month’s sketch is “hot off the Press” as it were. I held my scrapbook Crop today and the subject was “Vertical Page Design” and I made a page (8×8) and this sketch is based on that page. I have been asked many times from where do I get the inspiration for my scrapbooking. My reply is “from Everywhere”, but I do gain a lot of crafting inspiration from other peoples work and I find most of that by browsing the internet! I took two different classes at Honey’s school… the Juniors… the subject of the earlier post and the seniors, here are their finished Paper Bag Albums. I gave the children a general idea of the content of the paper bag album (instead of an envelope album for the juniors) but focused on showing them different techniques each [...] Here is a quick(ish) scrapbook page I made recently. You can see I have no photographs on this page. Instead I have used the piece of paper which my daughter had written on as my focal point. As there was no colour dictated by this focal point I worked the colour around the diecut butterflies, a [...] How do you get your friends to gladly GIVE you Scrapbooking Supplies? (and they can also be used for cardmaking.) What Scrapbooking items am I talking about? |
